Terms of Service — Haki (حكي)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Haki app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Service Description

Haki provides AI-powered translations into local dialects across multiple languages worldwide, including Arabic, German, Italian and more. New languages and dialects are added continuously. Translations are generated by AI and may not always be perfectly accurate. They are intended for learning and conversational purposes.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must be at least 13 years old to use Haki.

4. Energy System & Subscriptions

Free users receive a daily energy allowance for translations (currently 20/day, subject to change).
Energy packages are one-time consumable purchases and are non-refundable except as required by law.
Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
Subscription management follows Apple App Store / Google Play Store policies.
Refunds are handled by the respective app store.
Cancellation: you can cancel anytime via your App Store or Play Store account settings.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Haki to:

Generate harmful, abusive, illegal, or hateful content
Attempt to circumvent rate limits or energy restrictions
Reverse engineer or extract our prompts, models, or code
Resell or redistribute our service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Haki app, its design, branding, prompts, and source code are owned by us. Translations you create belong to you, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to store them for service delivery.

7. Limitation of Liability

Haki is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for translation inaccuracies, service interruptions, or any indirect damages.

8. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated in-app.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles.
